How often do turbos need to be replaced?
At the most basis level, turbochargers need to be replaced between 100,000 and 150,000 miles. Please check the turbocharger condition especially after 100,000 miles used. If you are good at maintaining the vehicle and keep oil changes timely, the turbocharger may last even longer than that.

How can I make my turbo last longer?
1. Supplying your turbo with fresh engine oil and check turbocharger oil regularly to ensure high degree of cleanliness is maintained.
2. Oil functions is best within an optimum operating temperature around 190 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Give the turbocharger a bit of time to cool down before shutting off the engine.
